Pragma secures Planning Permission for 84 Sandown Road
Pragma Planning has secured Planning Permission for works to the Listed Building at 84 Sandown Manor to facilitate the creation of 4 luxury apartments.
Pragma Planning, Sutherland Architects and Fraser Homes have worked very closely with NIEA and John McIlhagga (Conservation Architect) to deliver one of the most prestigious and luxurious developments in east Belfast.
Pragma became involved in the case when NIEA threatened Faser Homes with legal action for works carried out to the Listed building which did not have appropriate consent.
Pragma, Sutherlands and Fraser Homes then began a series of consultations with NIEA and John McIlhagga to rectify the works undertaken and to ensure that the finalised development incorporated all of the features of the Listed building into the overall design package.
This close working relationship has not only prevented legal action being undertaken thereby saving the client and the public purse from additional expenditure but has also resulted in the site manager, Stephen Orr, being put forward for and being awarded an NHBC regional award as well as now being put forward for national recognition in the multi-storey building category.
NHBC said "Stephen's attention to detail, led to a finished product of excellent quality." This is a clear indication of the quality of the finalised scheme and the attention to detail of both Stephen and Fraser Homes.
