Number of Planning Deciions Drops

The Number of planning decisions issued by DoE in Northern Ireland has fallen by 20%.

The Number of planning decisions issued by DoE in Northern Ireland has fallen by 20% according to new figures.

The Department said that the number of decisions dropped from 20,223 in 2009/1010 to 16,191 in 2010/11.

By way of mitigation it advised that the number of application being made had also fallen although only by 14%, meaning that the performance had only dropped by 6%.
